The New Jersey Agricultural Society awarded
Ron Fisher of Ron’s Gardens in Hammonton with
the Tony Russo Farmers Marketing Award on
February 6, 2013 at the New Jersey State Agricultural
Convention in Atlantic City, for excellence in promoting
New Jersey’s agricultural products. Fisher is a
first-generation farmer who started out growing mums.
His operation is a full-service garden center and produce
market. Fisher was a member of Class 7 of the New
Jersey Agricultural Leadership Development Program
and is a former president of the Atlantic
County Board of Agriculture.
